Are reservations required?
If you have the opportunity, we recommend to call us while
you are in the process of making trip plans for San Blas. This
way, we are able to help you discover which trips are best
suited for you and your group, help you with tour departure
locations, connect you with any other groups we know of, or
connect you with a tour guide if you need assistance. Tips:

La Tovara Jungle Boat Tours:
Reservations are NOT
REQUIRED to take the Jungle Boat Tour
at La Tovara National Park on your
own. Guests may park their vehicle in the La Tovara
parking lot and register at any time of day. We (San
Blas EcoTours) are not affiliated with the La Tovara
association, but we are able to help you hire an
outside guide such as a "Naturalist" to
accompany you, and additional fees will apply. For

Many tours and trips in the San Blas area
can be arranged spontaneously, but take note that
during the tourism season (November-May), guides
may be booked. Depending on the time of year or local
festivities, we advise to make reservations, especially
if you have limited time in San Blas; reservations
can be made for the following trips, subject
to availability, and weather conditions permitting.

In most cases, hiring a specialized guide
requires advanced reservations, particularly if you
have limited time in San Blas. Reservations
must be made for the following trips, subject
to availability, and weather conditions permitting.
• San Cristobal Estuary Crocodile and Bird
Watching Trip (North of San Blas)
• Waterfall Hikes (Guided)
• Sport Fishing
• Trips with a certified Bird Guide, or a Naturalist
(all estuary, or land locations)
• Snorkeling or Scuba Diving on the San Blas
coast (conditions permitting)
• Hiking, Snorkeling, or Scuba Diving at Isabela
Island (conditions permitting)
• Guided/Customized day-trips to Santiago,
Mexcaltitan, Tepic, or other local sites
